Inspired by the celebration of Día de los Muertos, to explore the concept of time and transcendence, in the digital age and global interconnection through communication networks.

For this she creates an image of a woman dressed as the fairy “Catrina”.

Digital anthropology enters the scene as a modern contamination of these ancient cultures. Artworks could incorporate pictorial QR codes, leading to digital narratives, creating a synergy between the past and the present, a portal between the physical and the virtual, the “Phygital” composed of the physical and the virtual Catrina Butterfly the butterfly it was taken as a sign of rebirth and regeneration, as a symbol of the human soul capable of renewing and transforming itself.
